Things parents ask us

Is my child's photo safe?
Yes. We use it only to illustrate the book, never share it with anyone, and never use it to train AI. You can delete it from your account at any time.
Do I need to upload a photo?
No — uploading a photo is optional. If you don't have one handy, choose "Build a character" instead and pick your child's hair, eyes, skin tone, and a few style touches. The illustrator uses that description to keep your hero looking consistent across every page. A photo gives the most accurate likeness, but the built-from-scratch hero is just as charming.
Who actually writes the story?
An AI writes an original story from the details you give us — your child's name, age, the theme you picked, the little things that make it personal. Our team designed the prompts and the Storybook Sketch illustration style so every book reads and looks like a real bedtime book, not a chatbot transcript.
How long does the book take?
The free digital preview is ready in about ten minutes. Hardcovers are printed to order and ship worldwide within ~30 business days.
Can I change the story after the preview?
Yes. You get two free preview attempts, and once you order the full book you can tweak text and re-roll any illustration before it goes to print.
What ages is it good for?
Stories are written for children roughly 0–8, with reading difficulty and art style adjusted to the age you pick. Parents read to the little ones; older kids love recognising themselves and reading it back.
What if something's wrong with my printed book?
Our print partner reprints or refunds any book that arrives with a production issue — just email us a photo and we'll take care of it.
